S1E07 - The Derelict Ship

Night, the talking sword Darien found in the ruins, has a plan to rescue Marialla by commandeering a space pirate vessel that uses a distant storeroom as a base of operations on Six.

Their journey takes them far beyond the edges of human habitation where Darien has lived into the truly abandoned wilds where only the empty husks of long abandoned farms remain.

S1E10 - The Buried Library

The narrative takes a brief break from Darien and gives us a view into what happened to Marialla following her capture in episode 5.

She meets her captor, a man claiming to be the King of Six, but quickly learns that there’s someone else who wants her. Later, in the room where she’s being held, she finds a hidden doorway leading to a ruined library.

S1E11 - Welcome to the Kraken

Darien boards the Kraken, but finds a very different ship from the vessels in Kathy’s stories. Gent, the man who once suggested hanging him, offers Darien much needed advice on surviving.

S1E12 - The Shooting Star

Darien overhears a tense conversation between Dragon-Eye and Bluebeard. Later, Gent takes him to the engine room.

The engine emits a siren song that draws Darien in. When he touches the engine, it reveals a moment from the deep past of Six.

S1E14 - A Different Name and a Different Face

Darien is forced into labor helping the crew to sort the plunder from their latest attack. Fantasia continues to harass him, but Darien’s biggest concern is the possibility that Bluebeard and life aboard the Kraken have changed him.

S1E17 - Knight of Stars
